Responsibility of Understanding

“So that those who have the responsibility for understanding can understand.”  Imagine if everyone went around transforming Lead to Gold, Gold would lose its value.  From The Alchemist – Paulo Coello   ……   What a wonderful book, full of inspiration. I find this line so powerful, “those that have the responsibility for understanding can understand”.   This applies to all aspects of life, if we want to we all can make ourselves understand more and become wiser.    Whenever we feel why is xyz  like that, I honestly believe one can apply this line in that situation.   It is not for all to achieve, not all will become the Prime Minister or President of a country.   Not all are Noble Prize winners, or super humanitarian like Mother Teresa.   At the same time, we all have the power to be great and good if we want.   If we put the effort in we can understand.     But, we can let our own self down – would you not agree?

We can take this one line as beautiful lesson on how to live life.    In a difficult situation, we can use this as it is not their part to understand and apply a full stop in our minds and stop ourselves from getting hurt.   We can use it as inspiration to get on and make something happen in our life and to become the one who understands.

Beautiful book I recommend you read if you have not  :- The Alchemist: A Fable About Following Your Dream  by Paulo Coello

  2. Iv actually listened to the audio, to be honest that was the first time I fully understood and acknowledged my personal Legend. Then I realized I was like the boy looking Everywhere for my treasure when I physically have my gold color, treasure box at home. This was an enlightening and powerful book. Great Article Bella 🙂
