Air, Wind, Gravity, Karma?
What do these things have in common? Do they have anything in common? You might just have to think a little bit, a teeny bit outside of the box – just a little. Or you may be thinking the author has finally lost the plot? Well, lets us just explore with an open mind:-
We cannot see Air – but we breathe it!
We cannot see the Wind – but we feel it!
We cannot see Gravity – but we know it what is keeps us on the ground and not floating in space.
We cannot see Karma –But it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist?
Because we can’t see Karma we chose to ignore it. We don’t ignore the air we breathe or the gravity that stops us from floating all over the place.
We all know what Karma is, but we can’t see it, we feel may be it doesn’t exist?
We know that phrase “as we Sow so shall we Reap”.
We know you receive good for good and bad for bad. Yet, we always take the easy negative road rather than the right road.
It takes a Tomato seed to become a plant and bear fruit in one season. It takes an apple tree to bear fruit in 3 – 5 years. It takes a mango tree to bear fruit in 10 years. So, if we understand from this analogy that some karmic accounts good or bad, will reap in the same season as they are planted and others take longer.
Karma is a deep subject, I am no expert, but I totally believe in it. I wish to post more on Karma, in the weeks and months to come. For me, Karma is linked to reincarnation and we can only be a human being, as the seed of a human is the soul. For example, a tomato seed will not grow up into a mango tree. For us to reap the fruit of what we have sown we have to experience it in a human form. I also believe the Human Soul is immortal. I know – I know getting into some deep stuff here.
More to follow on Karma… in weeks and months to come.

This idea reminds me of the Law of Increasing Returns, which is kinda the idea of putting in hours, months, and maybe even years into doing something before ever seeing a reward from it. But eventually our hard work pays off and we get rewarded in an equal amount to the work we put in. It’s like the idea you said that we sow what we reap. I like the idea that it takes 3- 5 years for an apple tree to bear fruit.
As Emerson says, “Cause and effect, means and ends, seed and fruit, cannot be severed, for the effect already blooms in the cause, the end pre-exists in the means, the fruit in the seed… Every stroke shall be repaid. The longer the payment is withholden, the better for you; for compound interest on compound interest is the rate and usage of this exchequer. The law of nature is. Do the thing and you shall have the power, but they who do not the thing have not the power.”
I like this idea of karma that you used. Nice post

Hey Vincent, that quote of Emerson – wow. Compound interest on a good karma is totally welcome. But compound interest on a bad karma -eek no thanks on that one. I just say be mindful of everything one does and just create positive Karma
