Happiness – Quotes #10

Happiness  – Quotes #10

With our minds, with our thoughts we create so many things. We (someone ) create a computer,  created the world wide web,  houses, cars, money, tasty dishes etc.  But we also created guns, bombs, war, hate.     The mind is powerful, our thoughts are powerful.  We can change the world to be a peaceful and happy place or we can destroy our own life and the world.

Every week I try to select quotes – as I am a bit of quote addict, but quotes are extremely power, a few lines can change our entire world view.   Last week I wrote on peace, the other weeks did not follow a theme.  If you like quotes I have  been consistently quoting quotes for the last 10 weeks – so do check the other quotes out.

This week I thought I would quote on Happiness.  Let us all take the responsibility of creating a happy world starting with ourselves and sharing it to the world.   If we keep the percentage of those who think good in the world we have  strength to ensure the world will not fall apart  (If you check out the news – you know there is not a country in the world that is not at at the verge of falling part.  Meaning, we the individuals that make up society are falling apart or we are keeping it  together, it is not solely the governments responsibility to create peace and uphold laws – it is us the individual , the members of society to be one with morals and integrity.

  1. One of the quickest remedy to remind oneself of happiness is the conscious awareness of being grateful and appreciating the people around us and what we have in our life.

An example? Most of us got our limbs intact and even got 2 eyes, 2 ears and the usual features in a human body- We got no birth defects!
But of course, not every is as fortunate to be free of birth defects!

So appreciate and be grateful for it cause not everyone is as fortunate as you. Yeah, it’s a cliche but hey, IT IS a cliche for a reason isn’t it? 😉

And to add on, here’s a quote by Theodore Roosevelt:
“In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.”

So whatever it is, if you feel unhappy? Move! Do something about it! Don’t stay there and do nothing.
Another quote by Albert Einstein- “Life is like a bicycle, if you stop, you’d lose your balance!”

Nice post btw. Keep the spirit up champ!

    Your pal,
    Benjamin

      1. Thank you for both your words here and in your email. I do know that how we approach things can really help or hinder how our lives progress. I’ll keep up with meditating, and check out your website. I’ll also visit your blog as often as I can but I think I have to visit all the blogs only when I have spare time, it’s visiting when I don’t have that extra time that really makes me feel depressed and overworked. Take care 🙂 ❤

        1. Hey Cat, I totally understand the visiting and reading others blog, that takes the most time and really is one that can make one feel down. I certainly felt like that and still do. But, I have decided that I got to change the way I look at this, and I have to define or re-remind myself the purpose of me blogging. – speak soon. REgards Bella
