Why meditate?
Well, why not?
Why charge your mobile phone once or twice a day?
Well, if you don’t charge your phone once or twice a day you have a dead phone,do you not?
Why meditate?
If we keep running around like crazzies as we do, each and every day, and we never stop to charge ourselves – then we will be flat, zero, no battery left! Sound familiar?
So, Why meditate? Well to charge your battery, to slow down, to appreciate life, to learn to be quiet, to be silent, to create space to breath and to be you. Also it brings you close to you, that is, I, the Soul and the Divine.
Meditation not only calms you, it puts into perspective that which is out of perspective. When you meditate regularily you will find a new you, a inner peace and calm. A place of strenght and stillness.
So, are you up for the challenge to meditate for February or the entire year ?
The challenge is to mediation twice a day with a longer commentary, and to meditate in the middle of the day with minute meditation.
If you follow the suggestions below, great!. However, if you are only able to meditate the longer meditation once a day, and may be do two of the minute meditation that is also fine. The point here, is to meditate and create a habit of it.

The Challenge
————————————————————————–
Try to meditate with the following meditation ” Most Powerful Peace Meditation Ever “, in the Evening and in the morning before you start your day.
During the day – I encourage you to pick a minute meditation from this website : www.just-a-minute. I link a screen shot of the website below. I would encourage you to check this website out as it has minute long meditations. It has a Meditate Now button, it has 7 Steps to meditation.

- 10:30 am,
- 12pm (lunch time),

I love to meditate. I usually do a 10 minute guided positive morning meditation.. It makes such a huge difference in my day. When I can’t really get the 10 minutes down, a five minute… or like suggested.. even a minute during the day works wonders. Thanks for sharing 🙂

Being a regulator mediator, a daily challenge isn’t so much, but one minute during the working day? I think I’ll give it a try 🙂 best, Scott

I would join, but I haven’t even been staying on top of meditation like I should lately because of my busy schedule, so once I get more regular with it – I will do this challenge. I think it is very useful but for some reason, it is hard for me to do it unless I have a reason or if I am just doing nothing with my day.
I am still working on it though and try to do it, but it is a work in progress.

Shaylon, the way i see it. Even if you do one meditation a day even a minute is a step in the right direction. So dont be hard one yourself. A min a day and grow it from there

I have been meditating for a good while. If time is short a min is a good start. Of course a minute is not great.but it is better than nothing.
I try to meditate at 4am to 4.30am. Then at 7 to 8pm
Then i do min meditations at work at my desk. Or we have quite room that i use. I know the benefits of a quiet mind and i know the internal strenght meditation gives me. A peaceful strong mind is very important it makes a world of difference when life becomes difficult for meditation always stablizes you. It like exercising , but it is making i the soul stronger

wow, yes, you have a good routine going. That is my goal to have a routine going, like I do with exercise daily. It takes habit and willpower and that is what I am going to need in order to do this more regularly 🙂 I did find a YouTube meditation I liked and used. I have always believed in a healthy mind and body 🙂 both are very important for everyday ..
