  1. Great post, I would also recommend:

    -asking your manager what the most important priority task is to the business and if you have two managers setting a task getting them together to discuss.
    – showing good assertiveness techniques, i.e not taking on additional tasks if it is going to be a struggle, a simple statement/solution may help, i.e. “I am sorry at the moment I have to get this report completed today, I should be able to help out tomorrow but if you really need to get it done today Mike was saying he could really do with a bit more to do.
