Quieten Your Mind with Meditation

Quieten Your Mind with Meditation

I found this quote on my travels and I think it is worth a share.

“Many emotional disorders are characterised by a mind that gets high-jacked, usually from thoughts that they are trying to address or repair.  Meditation allows an individual to simply watch the mind and still the mind allowing it to do what it does, and you are able then to choose to follow it or not, and move to more wiser ways.   ” – Dr Zindel Segal

A mind and Meditation

I share a meditation below – It is my favourite as I think it really takes you to a place of peace immediately

  1. This is true. As someone who suffers depression problems and relapsed not long ago I can agree that meditation is a key to stopping the intrusive destructive thoughts that can occur with mental health problems. It’s a lovely meditation. Sorry I don’t check in every time you post, I have more time on certain days though and kind of binge on your posts lol. This is one meditation that I need to listen to again <3.

      1. I’m good thank you ❤ , a little busy but the sun is good, getting a bit too hot but I do enjoy the sunlight, it’s nice to have longer days. Hope it’s not too hot for you in this mini heatwave we’ve had?
