Other than life threatening decision, all other decision do not need to be made in this second, or today, or even the next few days. We can take our time. We can take advise too. But, be mindful with advice. With advice you must remember a few thing…… Here is a little poem, on taking it slow with decisions and hearing your intuition. It takes time to bake a cake, so don’t rush those decisions, remember you are baking a cake.
You need advice from time to time.
You ultimately are the one who is responsible.
You have to be comfortable with the follow through.
Others may share their thoughts and opinions.
But, you have to make the call at the end of the day.
Never hurry that decision.
Take your time.
If it doesn’t sit right, don’t do it.
If you are not at peace, don’t do it.
Sit on it.
Let the waves of muddled thoughts settle.
Let the thoughts and feelings present to themselves to you.
Then that decision will be a good one that brings peace.
The decision does not need to be made today, you can sleep on it for a few days. Then you will make the right decision.

I love the poem. But I most definitely can relate when you said “Never hurry that decision. Take your time.
If it doesn’t sit right, don’t do it.
If you are not at peace, don’t do it.” That right there is the story of my life these days. Thanks for the post 🙂

This is such a thoughtful post, Bella. Your poems are beautiful. Yes, many decisions don’t need to be made right away. By waiting, we may get more information or thoughts on which way to go.
I like to make decisions when I’m not in a hurry and make them when my heart feels peaceful.
This post is well written, Bella.

I truly appreciate your post. The wise reminders need repetition to become a part of our being. Urgency usually brings turmoil. It is important to allow time and take time for our choices to flow naturally and bring joy.

Thank you. Exactly, a rushed decision is a bad decision. And creates unnecessary stress.
