Meditation Commentary – Being Gentle with the Self

Real deep gentleness can come only when there is wisdom. Let go of the things you punish yourself for. Walk into a field of peace a sanctuary for the Soul. Away from right and wrong. There is learning in all of life. We grow and become wise from learning and recognising our own mistakes. Learn to see growth in every experience, then pain is not felt, only learning is experienced. By punishing our-self we delay our learning our growth. We delay happiness and peace in our life. Don’t take it personally, just learn and grow.

This is a beautiful meditation that I recommend you to hear fully, may be more than once. May be, even listen once with a pen and paper and write it, so that you can refer to the wisdom in this meditation later. Then listen to it and follow the meditation. Let the magic enter your life, and change your life.

I practice meditation daily and I highly recommend it. I personally practice it as a sit down event in the morning and evening. But, I also practice whilst moving around, for example – at work, or on public transport, or in a queue somewhere. The more we quieten our mind, our self, the more peaceful and resilient we become. We see the games, but, don’t get disturbed. I also journal, practice affirmations and gratitude. All these tool help me, by no means am I perfect, but, life is much better for all these tools and I hope the same for you.

As usual this meditation is from the release your wings YouTube channel ( that is these are not my creation).

    1. How timely and wonderful.

I am glad you liked. It is true we are too harsh on ourselves.

I am trying to return to sharing a weekly meditation on either monday, wednesday or Saturday so keep an eye out.

      Here is the link.

      1. I have had this issue with bloggers in india, sometimes the video doesnt play. But it plays for me. May be you 1) restart your phone. 2) go to youtube direct and type in the following in the search box. Release your wings. Being gentle with the self.

I cant do anymore than this because it works for me on laptop and phone.

  3. I am trying to practice the silencing of mind…once only I really felt how relaxing it is.. but to be frank all the rest of the time, I had to do a conscious effort to silence my mind which ultimately lead to a kind of stress…

    1. Hi Akhila, you the secret to meditation is… knowing that the minds job is to think. But, we need to direct the mind to think less, slow down, be positive. There is no thing as a silent mind, cause the mind has to think. But our thoughts , our feelings, the volume of thoughts can all be controlled and then peace and silence follows. I hope that makes sense.

      Kind regards bella
