Meditation Commentary – Being Gentle with the Self

Real deep gentleness can come only when there is wisdom. Let go of the things you punish yourself for. Walk into a field of peace a sanctuary for the Soul. Away from right and wrong. There is learning in all of life. We grow and become wise from learning and recognising our own mistakes. Learn to see growth in every experience, then pain is not felt, only learning is experienced. By punishing our-self we delay our learning our growth. We delay happiness and peace in our life. Don’t take it personally, just learn and grow.

This is a beautiful meditation that I recommend you to hear fully, may be more than once. May be, even listen once with a pen and paper and write it, so that you can refer to the wisdom in this meditation later. Then listen to it and follow the meditation. Let the magic enter your life, and change your life.

I practice meditation daily and I highly recommend it. I personally practice it as a sit down event in the morning and evening. But, I also practice whilst moving around, for example – at work, or on public transport, or in a queue somewhere. The more we quieten our mind, our self, the more peaceful and resilient we become. We see the games, but, don’t get disturbed. I also journal, practice affirmations and gratitude. All these tool help me, by no means am I perfect, but, life is much better for all these tools and I hope the same for you.

  1. I am trying to practice the silencing of mind…once only I really felt how relaxing it is.. but to be frank all the rest of the time, I had to do a conscious effort to silence my mind which ultimately lead to a kind of stress…

    Yes! Being gentle with the self is much so necessary.
    I will tell You only this morning I have done Affirmations to be Gentle to Myself. It is a fact that I was harsh and delaying. There is much to be learnt from this Post.
