Dear Friends,
After a long while I have recorded another podcast. It is a bit of ramble on the topic of Discipline and Meditation. In this podcast I share my thoughts and feeling off the cuff, this podcast is unscripted. I also share some thoughts from a book that I am currently reading The Universe Has Your Back By Gabrielle Bernstein .
I mention some thoughts on t.he Divine, God, and I understand that not everyone will be comfortable with this. However, if you like my blog posts then you are not new to this.
Covid-19 has shaken up our reality and our life. I see some good in lockdown, it has given us space and hibernation time. For me this lockdown time has been scared. Initially it was stressful with trying to get all my mum’s medicines, not being allowed to speak to doctors, and grocery shopping. We honestly didn’t believe all the panic. The panic buying fell at the same time as our normal big shop. But, God always too care off us. I still don’t have handwash or hand gel. Making do with body wash.
Like I was saying. I am loving this quiet, hibernation time. It is allowing me to do real inner spiritual work that is much needed. It is allowing me to get on top of the pending paper work pile * 10. I am without work since October 2019. Currently, I take it as my fortune to have all this time to work on my spirituality, my peace, my inner self, and iron out all the character flaws I have.
I feel normal life is extremely outward facing, external. I feel there is not enough time for inner peace, and inner work. Covid-19 is forcing us to slow down and re-evaluate life. I think to re-evaluate life, priority, what success is, what failure is, does it even matter is important. And Covid-19 has given us space to do so.
I can’t remember who or where I heard someone say ” You can have all the money in the world, but, If there is no grain to eat, then there is no Grain. No amount of money can buy what is not there.” My point is, money is important to live, a career is a way to earn. But, life is more than money and spending it. Inner strength, inner power, inner resilience is the only thing that carries us at this time. The only way I know how to have inner strength is to meditation and down load peace from God daily.
I hope you like this podcast. I am still new to podcasting and because I do it so infrequently I still have a lot to learn, to improve the technical quality and improve how I speak.
Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy this rambling podcast and that it makes sense to you.

It’s so great to hear from you. I agree with you that the current situation is pushing people to look inward. To slow down and relax essentially.
Im generally an introvert which leaves me not as affected as my extroverted sister but I do empathize with her need to go out and travel e.t.c
Your podcast is awesome. I hope to hear more from you ❤️ 🙂

Thank you so much dear Bella for your lovely talk on meditation and yes I completely agree with you. It is really good to be disciplined in life and being meditating for our own benefit that will lead us one day to know who we really are.
