Thought for Today by Marcus Aurelius

At dawn, when you have trouble getting out of bed tell yourself; “I have to go work as a human being. What do I have to complain of, if I’? Going to do what I was born for – the things I was brought into the world to do? Or is this what I was created for? To huddle under the blankets and stay warm?” Marcus Aurelius.

The birds and the creatures start their chatter, their singing way before 5am in the morning. Going about their business of just being. What is the business of a human being? What is the being part of human? My answer will always be I am a soul, the being of this human being, I am not this body. My business is to be a good human being, honest, noble, royal, truthful and good natured. To be human is to show my character, my artistic ways, my goodness, to send peace and love to the world. My character must be whole, good, kind, and honest. In a dishonest world I must be brave to walk on the correct path and not follow the crowd going in the wrong direction.

The golden era of human beings. Heaven. Goodness was all around. The Soul’s expression of goodness, wholeness, respect, love, soul consciousness was prevalent.

It is in the era of hell. Ego, anger, fear, jealousy, lust, attachment, dislike, greed and all negative human tendencies exist. Otherwise know as body consciousness, when the Soul has forgotten that it is the being of the Human being! And thinks it is Human and mortal. When infact the Soul is light, a point of light and immortal.

It is by returning the Soul back to its original values of peace, love, purity, wisdom, silence, happiness, and goodness will we return back to that golden era of Heaven. When we move away from body consciousness back to soul consciousness.

The business of human beings is the business of love, peace, wisdom, happiness, purity, goodness, artistry, poetry, creativity in good and pure ways. The business of human beings is to return to love, return to peace, return to kindness, to return to being a being of peace, a Soul the being of Human being. This in my humble opinion is the business of Human beings. To be good, to be noble, to be royal, honest, trustworthy and truthful.
