Thought for today – Sleep

A good night’s sleep, solves so many issues. A good night’s sleep allows you to wake up fresh, early or at least on time, energised and motivated.

A good night’s sleep heals your body and mind.

Make sure to go to bed on time and leave your phone away from you.

Make sure you have a tidy home before sleeping. That you have things ready for the next day, from your clothes to your to-do list. Eat dinner on time. Meditate before sleep. Have good thoughts. Let go of the day and express satisfaction that you had a good day. And go to bed on time. Then you will wake up naturally and energised.

  1. I agree with you on every word. They activities we do before bed and the Way we go to bed determine the quality of our sleep and therefor predetermined the quality of the next day and the cycle continues. It’s very important to have a healthy sleep pattern and habits.

  2. Ugh 😖😖😖 I am so bad with this. I didn’t go to sleep until 3 last night and didn’t fall asleep till 4. And had to get up in four and a half hours for work. The funny thing is that I used to be terrified of not sleeping enough and feeling groggy the next day, but now I’ve learned to function on very little. This isn’t good. I resolved to cut down my screen time which is what delays my going to sleep and I’m just going to have to get back in the saddle.
