Are We attached to pain and hurt?

Pain will always come.

We just need to understand, that it doesn’t need to become a life ĺong friend.

Let go of the clutter, the pain.

Forgive, accept and let go.

Pain doesn’t need to be your best friend, honestly.

So what if they are cruel, rude or what..why does it matter to you?


Honestly let go, for your emotional and physical well being, let go.

My mother always says and I noticed this to be true.  ILLNESS Comes to us to distract/move us/ change our focus from emotional pain that we just can’t move away from.  This also means illness is connected to our emotional baggage. There are many real-life stories where people have healed brain tumours by healing childhood hurts, or hurts from other relationships, and the same for arthritis.

Learn to let go, forgive and accept for your health -physical and emotional.

Accepting and forgiving doesn’t make wrong, right.  No way.  But, it releases you from any karma and keeps you focused on today and being well.

Emotional pain is an illness of choice.  Choose to move one baby step by baby step and save yourself from serious physical or emotional health issues.  I am not saying pain is easy to deal with.  I know it is not.  But to disable yourself in pain will lead to health issues of some sort.

Pain is not your friend.


The world is currently a garden of thorns.  Thorns will prick you, especially from unexpected sources.  Keep with the Divine and share your burden with him.  Let him guide you through the pain, don’t poison your heart or your mind.

Never take it personally.  Don’t shed tears for those who don’t.   Don’t lose your heart stay beautiful.

Let go of the pain, your health is worth more than hanging onto the pain

  1. I absolutely agree with you. Our illnesses are certainly dis-eases that are created in the body from all the emotions suppressed. Truly appreciate you sharing your mom’s view – it really is an opportunity to change our focus. Pain is an indication to make changes in our life. It is a guidance that makes us do necessary corrections. We need to have the willingness to do everything to move from pain to balance.

  2. Very insightful post, Bella. Your mom was so right in saying “ILLNESS Comes to us to distract/move us/ change our focus from emotional pain that we just can’t move away from.” How true this is! The stress from emotional worry and pain literally does make us physically sick and cause actual medical problems. It’s like swallowing something toxic. We have to listen to the message it’s sending us and then try to heal.

    1. Yes Hetty. You are right. “swallowing something toxic’, again and again. We then keep attracting more pain in our life. So important to let go, forgive, forget (eventually) then we heal. Hard to do but so important for us to lead a happy life.
