You Can Face Anything.

Life is one big test paper.

Not a test paper to fail.

But a test paper to pass.

Sometimes, things feel impossible.

Sometimes we feel like we have made a mistake.

And sometimes we feel, we are never going to resolve or get to the bottom of this.

We get hopeless and want to give up.

But, those are times to remember, all the test papers we have passed and all the lessons we have learned. All the mountains we have climbed successfully, even after a few tears have been shed.

With patience, determination, and changing directions what seems like a million times, you will get there. Or you will realise that actually, this is not the time for this and give it a break, before returning to it a fresh.

Life is a test paper – to pass.

And remember your definition of passing or success is “unique” to you.

When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.

  1. It is very true that everyone’s definition of “passing” is different. Or–it should be different. Unhappiness ensues when we try to apply someone else’s standard to ourselves that may not be right for us.

  2. So you’ve a tummy-ache?
    think of your friend with stomach cancer;
but what about your tired eyes
and that stubborn cut on your leg?
Think of Betsy who is blind,
and your cousin’s lad who lost a limb in a car crash.
There are many worse off than you…

  3. This is a good post, Bella. Unfortunately, in life, the only way is up so we just have to keep plodding forward. Sometimes, we are lucky and the way is clear and we can skip along, other times we have to climb over fallen trees and boulders.
