I am currently reading “How To Write Non-Fiction” by Joanna Penn, and she shared this quote. In this chapter, she shares that authors should have a boundary regarding how much of their private life they share. She says to share, be authentic, be genuine but don’t share everything.
I am drawn to this quote as it applies to all aspects of life. It is all a choice. A collection of choices. How much do we share? What to keep private? What to sit on until we have calmed down from the emotional storm disturbing us.
Authenticity is honesty, and it lets our true self be seen in our life, or in our Author life (or our wannabe Author life).
