I see my reflection in the mirror.
Am I presentable?
Is my hair tidy?
Are my teeth clean?
Yes, they are.
I see my reflection in the mirror.
Are my thoughts and feeling making me happy?
Am I living my life per my code of conduct, values, and principles?
Do I have values, principles, and a code of conduct?
Are they fair to myself and others?
Do I look at the mirror of my mind to validate today?
What went well, what could I have done better, what was okay and what was not? Do I look at the mirror of my day and change what needs to change and improve myself?

Do I self-correct? Or Do I wait to be corrected, only to get frustrated and angry?

Every day is an opportunity for me to self-correct, improve myself, be better than yesterday and keep driving forward to be the best I can be. Patting myself on the back for each step forward. Even if I go backwards, the reflection will help me figure out why and how.
At work, we do mid-year and end-of-year reviews and track our progress. We might not like the process, but we learn a lot from it. It is a good tool to use in our personal lives.
Daily reviews of ourselves, behaviours, and thinking patterns help check whether we walk our inner talk. We check we are aligned with our core beliefs and what we stand for. They allow us to adjust, correct and stay on track to become the best we can be.
The best way to reflect is with Pen and Paper (or a journal). You will be able to polish off your rough edges. You will see life improve, and you will get skilled at being you!

Looking in the mirror is not easy! Let’s make it easier by being the person we’d want to see in it.
