Hi, I’m Bella. I started this blog on 7th March 2016. I live in England, United Kingdom.
Previously a functional/business analyst. Currently, an unpaid carer in 2019. This space on the internet is where I share all things personal development, positivity, meditations, quotes and anything else that inspires me; as well as blogging tips, social media tips, and graphics tips. I hope you enjoy your time here.
I have a passion for meditation, self-improvement, designing graphics, productivity, self-awareness, inner peace, affirmations, intentions, time-management, goals and always trying to find positive ways to be happy in difficult situations. But, not just in difficult situations. Finding balance, harmony and maintaining these practises when life is good is key to helping us be strong when life throws us curve-balls.
I believe our thoughts and feelings really impact our lives, there could be nothing difficult in our life at present, yet we are so unhappy. Why is that?
Additionally, in 2019 – this space has become a place
- for me to express my thoughts in a more poetic form as I explorer creative writing.
- I have also hosted interviews with other bloggers and their journey’s.
- I have even created a YouTube channel . Initially I created ‘How to Video’ to help the blogging community on WordPress.com, but now I am branching out into Meditation and more positive thinking stuff (this could be the way I do podcasts going forward – 30.8.2021).
- I have created a free newsletter using Mailchimp
- I have also created a Supporters page – To support this blog financially .
- I have also created podcasts series.
- I also create Graphics on Canva.com (another paid service), which those who have taken up this services have appreciated.

My deepest feelings about life
I believe that the thoughts we generate impact our life greatly. If we are able to change our thoughts, redirect them, catch our negative cycles of thinking, we can then change our life and our impact on the world.
Thoughts are the seed of an action/deed, if we can stop the wrong seeds from being sown, we can live happily and have the courage to always do the right thing.
If we learn to realign thoughts once we have been hurt to something more positive, we grow stronger, more capable and we become stable with a quiet confidence we can handle anything.
Our thoughts and feelings impact every part of our lives. They make us happy or sad. But, it is a choice; yes even in the hardest of times we still have a choice.
Me and Meditation
Some of the thoughts shared here are from my readings, personal experiences, and are inspired by the teaching of Raja Yoga Meditation (everything Raja Yoga teaches is FREE of charge, so if you are Free, why not take a peek)
I have been a meditator of Raja Yoga since the tender ages of 11 when my mother took me in the summer holidays. I have been meditating on and off for 30+ years. However, it is only the last 15 -20 years that I have gotten into gear (sometimes I go up a gear and sometimes I go down a gear).
Frankly, when you learn something so young, you don’t appreciate it, it is only when life throws the ugly stuff at you that you realise. I am not cool, calm or collected all of the time, I do fall apart but I can get myself back and meditation helps as well as positive thinking and doing.
My Author Journey
In 2020 I started to think about writing books. In July 2020, I started a very rough zero draft in a notebook and then stopped.
In June /July 2021, I restarted the draft zero draft, but now I am typing it out as messy Outline / the book. I know nothing about writing a book, editors, development editors, beta readers, marketing, query letters, layout, and God knows what else but, I am ‘Excited’ to learn.
When I eventually publish it, I might use a Pen Name. I have a long way to go; I am not a writer like many of you. But, there are books in me that I want to share, and I think they will be helpful. I feel this because this blog is showing me specific topics are a big hit here. These topics are the topics I employed in my life to help me fix myself.
On 30th August 2021 reached 5k words in my first zero messy draft. I make a note of this here as a reminder to me of my journey of writing books.
