My name is Bella. I started this blog on  7th March 2016. I live in the United Kingdom.

This is a simple blog, created to inspire and motivate myself and anyone else who might be aligned to what is being shared here.

I have a taken much benefit  from self-development from a personal, professional, and spirituality. This is what I want to share here, in terms of  what I have learnt, or whatever it is I am currently contemplating or practicing.

I have a passion for meditation, self-improvement, inner peace, and always trying to find positive ways to be happy in difficult situations. But, not just in difficult situations; balance and harmony are needed in our day to day life.  One moment we are happy and another we are flat on the floor.

I believe our thoughts and feelings really impact our life, there could be nothing difficult in our life at present, yet we are so unhappy.  Why is that?

I also have a need for orderliness in the home and life, though I may not always live up to it.   I believe orderliness impacts our happiness too.

I love quotes, meditation commentaries and inspiring stories so you will find a few those shared on this blog too.

Additionally, in 2019 – 2021 this blog has become a place

  • for me to express my thoughts in a more poetic form as I explorer creative writing.
  • I have also hosted interviews with other bloggers and their journey’s.
  • I have even created a YouTube channel . Initially I created ‘How to Video’ to help the blogging community on WordPress.com, but now I am branching out into Meditation and more positive thinking stuff (this could be the way I do podcasts going forward – 30.8.2021).
  • I have created a free newsletter using Mailchimp
  • I have also created a Supporters page – To support this blog financially .
  • I have also created podcasts series.
  • I also create Graphics on Canva.com (another paid service), which those who have taken up this services have appreciated.

I know a lot of bloggers on WordPress.com shy away from bloggers that are trying to make money. I get it. So here is my back story. I was made redundant in October 2019 just before the global pandemic. My mum has been suffering for a few years with heart issues, which led me to go part-time before I was made redundant. Her health is not stable enough for me to be in a type of work, where I can’t control my time. I am an unpaid carer. I have good skills in graphics using canva.com, albeit self-taught. I have worked with several WordPress.com bloggers from creating E-Books, Blog Banners, Twitter posts, Instagram post, Linkedin posts graphics. Being able to create graphics for fellow bloggers allow me to contribute to household expenses in a very small way, and allows me to feel useful, and I can control my time and what I do and when I do it. Everyone, who has worked with me has had a positive experience. And I used canva.com for all my blogging and social media needs.

My Author Journey

In 2020 I started to think about writing books. In July 2020, I started a very rough zero draft in a notebook and then stopped.

In June /July 2021, I restarted the draft zero draft, but now I am typing it out as messy Outline / the book. I know nothing about writing a book, editors, development editors, beta readers, marketing, query letters, layout, and God knows what else but, I am ‘Excited’ to learn.

When I eventually publish it, I might use a Pen Name. I have a long way to go; I am not a writer like many of you. But, there are books in me that I want to share, and I think they will be helpful. I feel this because this blog is showing me specific topics are a big hit here. These topics are the topics I employed in my life to help me fix myself.

On 30th August 2021 reached 5k words in my first zero messy draft. I make a note of this here as a reminder to me of my journey of writing books.

My deepest feelings about life

I believe that the thoughts we generate impact our life greatly.  If we are able to change our thoughts, redirect them,  catch our negative cycles of thinking, we can then change our life and our impact on the world.

A thought is the seed of an action/deed, if we can stop the wrong seeds from being sown, we can live happily and have the courage to always do the right thing.

If we learn to realign thoughts once we have been hurt to something more positive, we grow stronger, more capable and we become stable with quiet confidence we can handle anything.

Additionally, we set a new habit of always being honest, truthful, clear, sincere and humble in a very gently assertive way.

Me and Meditation

Some of the thoughts shared here are from my readings, personal experiences,  and are inspired by the teaching of Raja Yoga Meditation (everything Raja Yoga teaches is FREE of charge, so if you are Free, why not take a peek)

I have been a meditator of Raja Yoga since the tender ages of 11, when my mother took me in the summer holidays.  I have been meditating on and off for 30+ years.  However, it is only the last 15 -20 years where I have got into gear.

Frankly, when you learn something so young, you don’t appreciate it, it is only when life throws the ugly stuff at you that you realise.  I am not cool, calm or collected all of the time,  I do fall apart but I can get myself back and meditation helps as well as positive thinking and doing.

  1. It’s awesome to find another soul who seeks to not just better themselves but also the lives of those around them as well. This just makes you smile, doesn’t it? I know it does make me smile hah!

Anywho- Imagine a world where everyone takes care of each other… That would be something epically beautiful, in my opinion anyway.

Some say it’s foolish, some say it’s a fairy tale but in my opinion, I think it is a possibility. To create a positive world where everyone can live their lives to the fullest because of support from the awesome people (Like you!) around them- where everyone inspires everyone.

After all, as what Albert Einstein said:
“The world as we have created, it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking”

I believe it can be done, a new world- a new community, where positive people gather to share their lives and experiences together and push each other towards their goals and dreams in life!

I truly feel that you’d be someone who’d be able to contribute to this project which I’ve started a few months ago- It’s called Project Believe In Yourself. Hope you’ll check it out and let me know what you think 😉

Either way, I’d be lurking around this space for sure. You’ve got a great personality, great blog and great content going so in case you’re wondering if you’re doing things right? Wonder no more because you are! Just keep it up bud 😉

Heaven is a place on earth – but it can’t quite exist when we are in Hell. But , heaven does await us around the corner. Check out the brahma Kumaris – it is a global organisation I am sure there will be centre in your city if not in your country. http://www.brahmakumaris.org. They hold talks, and even the Raja Yoga Meditations course that really is an eye opener and is totally aligned to they way you are thinking.

Let me have a wonder to your blog
      speak soon Bella
