Forgive and Live A Beautiful Life

Forgive and Live A Beautiful Life

I don’t think of all the misery, but of all the beauty that still remains.  – Anne Frank

Forgive or remain stuck in the past.
Live in the present or rot in the past.

Be alive and live to your full potential  or
be a zombie stuck in hurt waiting to die.

Forgive or remain stuck in the past.

It is  your life and it is your choice.
It is your choice to live or rot ?

Rot in the resentment and hurt of past pains, waiting to die.
Or
Live in the present,
and see the beauty around you,
and live a full life today free from the past!.

Make a wonderful life.
Live freely and wonderfully.
Not tainted by the hurt that came in the past (years ago or just a second ago).

Fly free from the pain and be inspired to live in style.
Or forever  remain stuck in the prison of your pain,
Never to experience the sunshine on your face
Just waiting to die!

Stop wasting your life, living in past pain.
Stop being a free bird trapped in the cage of your painful thoughts.

Forgive and move on.
It is your life and it your choice.

You have more than others to be grateful for.
Live today, be present, stop wasting your life, stuck…..

As I walked out the door towards the gate that would lead to my freedom, I knew if I didn’t leave my bitterness and hatred behind I’d still be in Prison. –   Nelson Mandela.

  1. Oh Bella, I am so moved. I had to read this poem twice. Your strength and commitment to forgive and get free are evident and full of your authentic voice!! I really hear it. And I LOVE the image and what you wrote in it at the end. That is like icing on the cake. 🙂

Thank you for your two contributions to Forgiving Fridays. I’ll share them on Friday bright and early (well, LA time) I am sending you blessings of peace and of an experience of the perfection in Spirit.

    Love, Debbie
